Passed away suddenly at home. Beloved husband of Helen, devoted father of Amanda, Michael (dec.), Kylie, Rachael and Jessica. Adored Pa of Riley, Shanaya, Xander, Kiara, Hunter, Jayce and Tyler.
How can I write on paper the feelings I have inside, the sadness and the loneliness I have felt since you died. They say that time heals, but everyday I miss you more, and I would give anything just to see you walk through the door. You meant so much to me and there’s nothing more to say, the grief is still within my heart, as I think of you today. Love and miss you always Helen.
You cared for us when we were small, watched over us as we grew tall, you shared our joys and dried our tears, thank you daddy for our happy years. We will miss our daily phone calls. Lots of love from your girls and grandchildren.
Funeral NoticeThe Funeral Service to Celebrate the life of Colin James Pocklington will be held at the Poowong Public Hall 2 Nyora Road, Poowong on Friday April 8, 2022 at 1:00pm.
The Funeral will leave for the Nyora Cemetery at the conclusion of the above service.

I have such wonderful memories of us as kids – you were my blonde hair, blue eyes gorgeous looking cousin who was such a larrikin, full
of life. I remember our Pa asking you when you were about 8 “Are you going to take over milking the cows”. You stood there looking quite indignant and said “No way, I’m going to be in beef”. Your poor Pa was shocked, to say the least.
We may not have seen much of each other over the years due to distance but a few years ago we reconnected through Helen and your girls and I’ll always treasure the last time I saw you and you gave me such a huge hug. What a beautiful loving family you have left behind.
