June 2, 2022Grumpy Grandpa … I will always remember your love of growing things and have always felt my two green thumbs were a gift from having you as my Grandpa and having fond memories of visiting you as a child in the county side.. and also tending to your old potato and silver beet patches when we first moved to Melbourne and lived at Nannas. I was totally fascinated how you showed me how to graft different varieties of apples onto the same tree. I’ll never forget watching you roll your champion ruby tobacco that i still naughtily have a puff of to this day and refuse to change brands because it reminds me of you. Ill never forget you Grumpy Grandpa, and all those $5 notes and birthday cards you sent me over the years, I still hold a few in my box of keepsakes and treasures. I will always treasure the memory of you, I love you Grumpy Grandpa, love your little dimples xoxo
