Your field of journalism, including your experience with London newspapers was enthralling.
Music always brought a smile to your face and the Beatles “Paperback Writer”, hit the right notes with you.

It was at Cobden and it was called “The Fly Peper” because Michael wanted you to stick to it.
We had some wonderful times riding our bikes to Kyabram to go fruit picking – camping on the way.
His publications about Victorian history should be read by everyone to appreciate how terrible were the conditions for the working men, women and children.
The research that went into them is mind boggling.
Thankfully his research papers are now stored in the Melbourne Public Archives.
My sincerest condolences to his family.Salutations Michael. Your trees live in the clouds and dance in the winds.
