Passed away peacefully with loving family by her side at Abbey Gardens, on Friday the 1st of November 2024, aged 85 years.
Loving wife of Frederick (dec) of 66 years.
Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law to Darren and Linda, Glenn and Julie,

Narelle and Paul.
Adored and cherished Nan to Mitchell, Josh, Michael & Steph, Amy, Stephanie, Harry, Alex, and Freddy.

A loving and kind person, you left beautiful memories with so many people. Always sharing and caring, and bringing life and vitality, you were loved and respected by those who had the privilege to know you. Now reunited with Fred.

  4. In 1954 Cynthia was the inaugural President of the Leongatha Town Basketball Club. She was a member of the Town Country Week Team in 1957 Awarded Life Membership in 1987 in recognition of her services to our Club over may years as a player and administrator. She was a friendly, respected member of Leongatha Town Netball Club and the President, Committe and members offer their sincere condolences to all family members.

    We re connected thru St Andrews & the dinner 4 8. Wat happy times we had then

  11. As a close friend of her “little brother” Daryl, I have many fond memories of big Sis, Cynthia, going back 70 years. Ever happy, cheerful and welcoming whenever or wherever we chanced to meet.

    Always a matter-of-fact person who called a spade, a spade!

    Loved the Leongatha district community and always aware of the latest news around the traps.
    She became a very popular nurse and her gentle caring ways were renowned to all she attended.

    My sincere condolences to the entire family on Cynthia’s sad loss. She was certainly one of a kind!

Your nursing brought you into contact again when you nursed my father at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Then at Leongatha Hospital. Our children were at school together. A wonderful, caring lady.
