Handley funeral services are sensitive to families requirements at the cemeteries they choose to use. Occasionally families choose to have a service at the grave side. This is a personal choice and does not suit everyone. When considering a grave side service weather plays a big part in the service. The weather influences how we set up around the grave site. Depending on the weather it can hamper the setup not allowing us to set up marquees due to OHS. Another thing to consider is access and terrain. The location of the grave could be challenging for family and friends to access. The number of mourners influences the service as well. It is not possible to provide seating for everyone who may wish to attend. Handley funeral services makes every effort to provide a comfortable setting for family and friends to hold a grave side service. Our staff will assist families with their wishes and cover every aspect of the service.
