I have the fondest memories of Mr Woods as my Grade 6 teacher and a wonderful Principal. I especially loved reconnecting with him as an adult and still calling him “Mr Woods” regardless of him insisting he be called Peter. I’ll miss seeing you in the cafes and on the rail trail Mr Woods!

President, player and supporter of Junior tennis. An all round good club member. Will now miss meeting him out on his bike on the rail trail.

Many fond memories of Saturday tennis with Peter and Thelma, June and Laurie and Neil Flanders. That grand final against Foster was one of the best days. A player that lead by example, sportsmanship and brilliant topspin.

Peter was our kids Principle at Fish Creek Primary School and he was our dedicated team mate playing tennis together for many years. Great man gone to rest. Sincere condolences to Thellie, Karen, Jasmine and family. I was hoping to view on live stream, but doesn;t look like that’s an option. Please accept apologies for being unable to attend and pay respects in person. He was a lovely man, excellent grandfather (Pop) and supportive and accepting defacto father in law. Will be remembered fondly and I thank him (and Thellie) for their support for Jasmine and Karen over the years among the rest of the family. He was a devoted family man for sure.
