Meredith passed away peacefully at Carinya Lodge, Korumburra.
Beloved wife of Sidney (Steve), (dec.)
Dearly loved mother of Guy, Eric, Claire and Rosemary, mother-in-law to Fiona, Linda and Peter.
Adored grandmother of Georgia, Erin, Jordan and Nicole and adored great-grandmother to Ollie, Charlotte and Louie.
Sister to Maxwell, William, Louise (dec.), Evelyn (dec.) and Cameron.
A teacher for many years, who loved family and enjoyed travelling with a passion
Will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Since about the mid 60’sMerrie & Steve became our friends – how lucky were we -Steve through teaching,N Friday nights we’d play cards ( too poor to go out anywhere )
There three little Hockings and one little Blake on the way – Rosemary came later!
As time passed we enjoyed nights out, both at restaurants and the the theatre. Our dinners with the big mob wee fantastic.
Eventually golf became part of our lives,Merrie being a quiet champion at Northern Golf Club.
Together we travelled overseas several times and had a fantastic trip around Australia.
We continued our get together as time went by.
We we lucky to have has such fantastic friends as Merrie & Steve and we will always treasure
our times together with much love,
A final memory is lying under the stars on the Murray River bank’s surrounded by friends watching satellites passing by. With much love from
