  10. A graceful, gracious , kind and generous lady.
You brought effortless elegance to Toora and its ladies ( as did George to the men)
You insisted on payingfor the beautiful dress that I wanted to be water baptised in, you’ were so happy and tearful to see me well again. Maxine was my Hayley Mills school friend and there are
many happy memories of after school afternoon teas and dinners. You introduced me to braised celery. As delicious as the company you and George provided.
You will never be forgotten dear Betty’s long as there is lipstick , high heels and gracious service to a community
Love to all your girls Maxine, Pamela and Trudy and their families.
