Tributes
  1. Dearest Mavis, you were an absolutely wonderful woman and our bond was strong from the moment I started working at Calvary Strzelecki house. I looked forward to our chats whenever I had a shift at work. You had such a huge heart and ensured to look after anyone in need at the nursing home and were a friend to all. Your children and your grandchildren were your everything and you spoke so highly of them often . I’ve never met a sweeter lady than you. May you rest peacefully and be reunited with your beloved David. I will never ever forget you xx

  4. Dear Jason and Kerrie,

We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to you and your family for the recent passing of your beloved mother Mavis. My mother had a great time catching up and chatting with Mavis at Calvary Strzelecki House, and Mavis helped mum feel welcomed, comfortable and supported during her stay.
We hope you find comfort and support during this sad time.

  8. Dearest Mavis, the moment you and Dave arrived at the aged care you charmed us all.
During both my 1st and 2nd pregnancies you insisted on caring for me instead of me caring for you, telling me to sit down and rest while you showered. Of course I refused, but that truly showed what a beautiful caring person you were.
That was when I knew it was time to start my maternity leave.
You had so much love for your family and your beloved Dave.
I remember our time spent together fondly.

  10. I miss you so much, Mavis. You felt like family from the moment we met, and it was an absolute privilege to be there for you over the last 5 years. Thank you for letting me in, and for keeping me close. All my love to the Halliwell crew. What a beautiful family you have created ❤️

  11. Mavis, you were one of a kind. Someone who was caring, kind, selfless, hard working, loved your family fiercely and also loved a bit of a chat. An all round beautiful soul. But something tells me you have passed all those beautiful qualities onto the next generation, and because of this, you are still living on through them.
You’ll be dearly missed, but forever in conversations of those you’ve imprinted upon.
Much love to all the Halliwell family and to Kez, Cam, Beau and Toby.
I hope you’re are enjoying a beautiful warm embrace up there with your favourite people, especially with your love, David.
    Mwah xx
