Tributes
  1. A message from Bunbury, such a sad day, to Dave’s family our condolences, Dave first came into our lives with swimming lessons, then squad coach, then socially. Five families, he has trained all our kids. It’s rare to have a coach finish his lesson & play dodge ball etc after the lesson. Our kids loved him & was a fantastic influence. To Dave – we will all miss you & thank you for being a part of our lives . Regards Ferguson, Dowdell, Spencer, Ward, Kelly Families ❤️

  7. I, along with many others were terribly saddened to hear of Dave’s passing. Many condolences to Dave’s family and my thoughts are with you all at this sad time. I have many fond memories of Dave dating back to 2010. I’ll never forget the first time I met Dave was at work here in Bunbury WA at the South West Sports Centre, it was like I had known him my whole life and he made me feel so welcome, we just clicked instantly. Although we did have a falling out in recent times I still valued the friendship that we had and will always remember the many great times we had. RIP Dave ❤️

  10. I first met Dave when he became my daughters swimming teacher and later was lucky enough to become a friend. My daughter became petrified of water and swimming and I’m so glad he got to see and hear how, with his help she now swims the Busselton jetty swim every year.
He’s such a great guy he would treat everyone equally no matter who you were.
He had the biggest heart so kind. Many long chats with Dave I will cherish
Loved getting regular visits from him and Lottie at the aquarium i work at.
Geez she loved her Dad always smiling just like Dave.
I’m so sorry you have had Dave taken from you all far too soon.
I Appreciate you sharing this memorial it has helped with saying goodbye. Smile on Dave
