Much loved Da (grandfather) of Jessica, Joel, Robert, Alex, Max and Maeve. Adored Great Da of India, Pippa, Louka, Arthur and Nathan. Special Da to Melanie and Lawrence and foster father to Koo and Yitlan.
A celebration of a great life as he returns to the seas from which he fished for 70 years.
Max will be privately Cremated, with a memorial service to be held at a later date.

August 4, 2021A great man who I had the pleasure to know for much of my life. Fisherman, chess player, painter, mechanic, philosopher but most of all proud partner, parent & grandfather. Max was totally unique, warm + funny. Will be greatly missed but I, for one, feel privileged to have known you. Go Cats!

Thank you for all the questionably funny jokes, taking me fishing and teaching me to catch my first fish, taking me sandworm hunting, teaching me to play chess, painting and making things for me and all the unique life lessons. You taught me to appreciate the simple things in life. Love you and will miss you greatly. Rest in peace.
