WizzieA much loved neighbour and friend from our days at Whittinghams Way. Always the lady, Ankie will be sorely missed. Heartfelt condolences to Joe and the family.
March 23, 2021Ankie, loved unconditionally, adored her kids and in-laws, and especially her grandkids, and anyone that came to their home. She was the most hospitable person and generous in every way. She was the best grandmother, one I aspired to be like. She was a great cook who gave all her recipes to anyone who asked, my book has heaps of them, and they will be continually baked and eaten by all who have enjoyed Ankie’s cooking. I will certainly miss Ankie, but have many many fond memories. Joe we love you. You had an amazing woman beside you. Be continually praying for you.
March 23, 2021As a friend of Steve’s I remember going to their house in our wild college days and being accepted with open arms, she made her kids friends feel at ease and welcome. What a beautiful soul.
March 23, 2021My love and prayers to Joe and family.
