LEE, Thomas Ian (Ian)

Ian has made a wonderful contribution to organ/keyboard playing at the Leongatha Uniting Church. His cooperation was always appreciated. He was a gentle, kind and caring man whose chats about choral music and the music and hymns played during a service I always enjoyed and appreciated. He was obviously a man of many musical talents. My sincere condolences to Pat and his family.

I’m sad to hear of Ian’s passing. We are related as our grandmothers were sisters. We’ve enjoyed many chats about family history & attributes, Yarra Valley School and of course music. He was a good man and may he now rest in peace. My wife Mary and I send sincere sympathy and best wishes to Ian’s family. Peter Le Get

Ian was my father-in-law, my husbands father and grandfather to our children.
Ian was not only extraordinarily talented, but one of the kindest, most caring and
respectful people I have ever met. His loyalty to his wife and family was truly
Inspirational. I am so grateful to have known Ian and to be a part of his family.

Vale Ian. You were a valued colleague and respected friend. I have many fond memories of our time together at YVG, all of them positive. I remember you as a talented musician and a fine classroom teacher. Rest in peace Ian.

The Lee family was a huge part of my childhood and I have very fond memories of Ian, though he will always be Mr. Lee to me. I remember on so many occasions arriving at the front door and hearing him singing to the piano. I remember the long drives to Buffalo, his meticulous cleaning of the pool in summertime, his laugh. I remember talking with him about racehorse names, the way he looked over his glasses when reading. Most of all I remember his love for his family and I can only imagine how much you will miss him. I wish I could be there in person to celebrate his life. My deepest sympathy to Mrs.Lee, Sally, Chris, Simon, Martin, Mandy and your families, and to all that loved him xxxxxxx

Ian, you will be remembered by us as a true Gentleman. Fond memories of our talks at Family gatherings and of you playing our Piano and your beautiful rendition of Danny Boy for us Irish Folk. You never forgot us at Christmas time and our family was always guaranteed Christmas wishes from you and Pat.
