LESTER, Ian Francis

Born on February 23, 1942. Passed away March 15, 2020.

Passed away peacefully at Latrobe Regional Hospital.
Eldest son of Alan George and Mary Isobel (nee Johnson) Lester (both dec.).
Much loved brother of Helen (Reis), David (dec.), Richard and Colin. Brother-in-law of John, Janette, Sue and Jo. Special Uncle of Simon, Scott (dec.), Nicole, Kate, Rowan, Emma and Teegan. Our grateful thanks to Hillside Lodge, Latrobe Regional Hospital and Ian’s Care Team from Gippsland Southern Health Service over recent years.
Sadly Missed.

CANCELLED Please note, the previously advertised Memorial Service for Ian Francis Lester on Monday (March 23, 2020) at Mardan Hall has been cancelled due to public gathering restrictions and to protect the well-being of Ian's family and friends. A Private Burial will be held.

Condolences to Ian’s family. I met Ian when I was the Regional Director for the Victoria State Emergency Service. He was always very willing to assist in many operations and training activities. His memory will stay for many years.
